Dcf for US new

Hi everyone. My husband and I applied for dcf last december 9,2015 and i received an email last december 28 saying that the USCIS-approved visa petition in my behalf. It tells me about scheduling interview (numbers to call etc.) and tells also about the ds 260 that i need to complete and print confirmation page to be presented on the day of the interview. It tells the website that I need to visit for visa preparation. They also provided my case number. I'm confused though, if I should go and set my appointment for interview or I should wait for appointment letter? Will there be appointment letter to arrive for scheduling interview? We applied dcf and I'm really confused with the procedure. I'd appreciate your help:)
