I read one on the forum that the St. Paul office is strict with walk-in. Has anyone tried walking in to this location for ROC biometrics? I was trying to find their hours of operation and their number to ask if they accept walk in but I am unable to find it. :(

Don't call and ask, just do it! (I think asking inclines them to respond negatively. Then come back and let us know if they do. :)

We did back in September without a problem. While checking in there was a little line and the guy asked a group of us what time our appointments were and if we were early, someone behind us had was there just on time, the guy infront of us was a little early, I said we were three weeks early, he just laughed and told use to wait. He go a supervisor to come and look at our paperwork and sign off on the early appt. We were out the door in 30 minutes.

Thanks guys! It is quite a drive and want to make sure that we can get in. lol. Do you know what time they open? I'd rather not file leave if I can get back in time for work. :)

8:00 AM as I recall, we only had one biometrics appointment at the Bloomington office, scared the death out of my wife and stepdaughter with all those armed guards, first time in a USCIS office. Then for six more sent us down to the Milwaukee office where they had a policy you could walk in at any time at noon on a Wednesday.

Never learned this about the so-called St. Paul office, never had to. We just wanted to get this over with, would have gone to LA if this is where they sent us.

Ha, talk about a long drive, worse this time of year, our last visit was for my stepdaughter's oath ceremony on a snow day. We left four hours earlier. Its okay if the USCIS is months late in giving you an appointment, but if you are just one minute late in showing up, can reject you.

Thanks NickD! We are closer to the Bloomington office but not in this location which makes me wonder why they sent me there. :(. I'm glad it opens that early. Hopefully they let us in so we can just be done with this as well. I agree with you with them being late and okay for them to give inaccurate info but not us. I've been victimized multiple times of their incompetence.

I get the closer to Bloomington location (literally 10 blocks from my house) and being sent to St. Paul. We walked in early the day of our biometrics and they didn't even hesitate. There was a sign that said something about no walk-ins if I remember. But I think you should be fine. They didn't turn anyone away while we were there and it got fairly busy before we left. Good luck!

They have not done Biometrics in the Bloomington office in a very long time. Back in 2004 was the first time I brought a friend to their biomettic appointment and it was in St. Paul. Only the Biometrics are done there, everything else is in Bloomington.

Thanks JR loves JR! I will do it tomorrow. Does the biometrics makes the process faster? Lol.

Makes me wonder why. :( It could have been easier if both are open for everything lol.

By the way, it says that electronics are not permitted. I thought this was just in the PH. Do they have lockers to leave it to or you left yours in the car?

Leave the electronics in the car as they don't have lockers. They did tell some people to put their phones away while waiting. Did you already go? Was it okay?

Hi! It was really quick. We went there yesterday and the service was very fast. Does getting biometrics done early has any effect in the speed of the processing for ROC? lol

We went there too! You can park to their designated parking lot I think the same place you are talking about.
