Hi there,

I RECEIVE A LETTER FROM WHICH SAYS " WE ARE RETURNING AN ITEM YOU SENT IN SUPPORT OF YOUR APPLICATION/PETITION, AS IT IS A FORMAT WE CANNOT PLACE IN YOUR FILE FOLDER FOR REVIEW BY AN OFFICER DURING THE ADJUDICATION PROCESS"

BECAUSE I SENT A PHOTO ALBUM OF ME AND MY HUSBAND. WHAT'S THE BEST FORMAT FOR SENDING OUT PICTURES IN USCIS? CAN I RESEND THE PICTURES AGAIN? Do they photo copy the pictures that is why they dont ask to return it to them?

Thanks...

Pictures should not be sent in a big ### album, as they're not going to lug that around with your case file.

Sent copies of the photos or otherwise take them out of the album and resend.

Agree. Some kind person at USCIS did you a big favor, by sending back to you intact, your (likely) nice photo album; with the other available options of ripping your album apart and taking the photos, or discarding everything.

For all of our photographs throughout our immigration journey, I have printed the digital photos, 1-2 per page, ten pages maximum, using a color laser printer.

YMMV,

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Thanks for the reply. Is it fine to send it again even i do not have yet receipt number ? Or i can resend it just by stating my name and the petitioner on the letter?

I sent a big photo album to support my case. Can i put it on a small photo album instead and send it to them? Thanks

Keep it simple. Take a look at this USCIS General Tips on Assembly and Mailing: http://www.uscis.gov/forms/forms-and-fees/g…

I printed photos I emailed to myself on regular white copy paper using a color printer.

As others said keep it very simple.

Do not send any type of photo album. These pics are separated and put into a file folder.

Thank you so much. My question is. Can i resend photos again to the uscis even if they dont ask to reorganize and send it back to them again?

If you are determined to send them back at this point- I would wait until you have your receipt number.

I don't believe there is a guarantee that your photos will make it to where your petition file is sitting unless you are eventually issued an RFE for more evidence of meeting.

There are varied opinions on whether someone should send more evidence without an RFE. I guess it would just be up to you- it can't hurt, I'd say.

Our Journey:

08/16/2016- Waiver submitted (no lawyer).
11/21/2016- Waiver approved with expedite.
01/2017- Embassy requested interview.
04/2017- Fourth visit to Nigeria.  K1 officially denied.
04/25/2017- NOA1 for 2nd K1.
07/27/2017- Case transferred to TSC.
11/17/2017- Case transferred back to CSC.
01/16/2018- NOA2!! (266 day wait)

NO photo albums. Take the pictures out of the album and send in maybe a dozen. Put them in a ziploc bag with names on the back. That is what we did and we had no problems. Just an FYI pictures are secondary evidence and not required

Don't try to send it back now unless it was asked for. Print pictures on plain paper in color and in my case, I put the location and who they were in relation to us in the pictures e.g. New York, with xxx's friends

Lots of photos does not equal better evidence. The marriage certificate proves that you got married. The pics don't add much. A few would be plenty.

Big or small no matter please do not repeat and send another album. That isn't the format. Scan what pictures you want viewed onto 8 X 11 paper. Walgreens does nice collages on paper.

They did not require to send some pictures back or they did not send you an RFE. Try to wait, probably they already pulled some of the pictures they needed for the file.
