Hi

My case was completed by the NVC on NOV 20. My priority date is 12Mar2009. Which is current now in January.

I still didn't get any letter regarding the interview date.

I sent on DEC 1 to the NVC an email regarding my case status. I got this reply on DEC 9: Immigrant visa petition xxxx is currently on a list of completed cases awaiting the availability of visa numbers. This petition will be eligible for an immigrant visa interview when a visa number is available per the Department of State's Visa Bulletin.

I sent another email to the NVC on DEC 18 still didn't get any reply yet.

This is frustrating. Are they still scheduling for February interviews?

How long did everyone wait to call about an interview date? It's only been a week since CC, but I am anxious.

You wait for interview scheduling. When you start seeing people posting they got an interview date. That's when most start calling. Scheduling doesn't happen everyday of the month. Each embassy sends to NVC the slots open for the that months scheduling. NVC usually starts the end of the month through the 1st week of the month. And they continue either until they run out of slots or they run out of petitions to put in the slots.

When calling NVC be specific and only ask about your embassy and ask "Has my embassy in Belize started scheduling for February".

Don';t just ask has scheduling started . They will say yes or no and that may not even pertain to your embassy.

I have seen a few February assignment not alot. So either some embassies are done or some have not started. All you can do is call and find out and hope they know what they are saying. Most tomes not.

Hello guys! Have been away for a while now due to my present location at work. Wishing everyone with interview date a success. Well, my interview is coming up Jan 7. But you can't believe am still trapped offshore. It's crazy, right? Well, I have another day window to leave. I will update you guys later about my interview if am able to make it which I hope to.

They might be but they might be done with your category since its a Visa number. And its the beginning of the year. It's a wait and see that's all you can do is wait.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to pop in here to wish you guys good luck with the interview and to congratulate the ones that got their approvals recently

As for me, I received my passport with the visa on Dec 30th, 2 days after the interview!!! I'm so excited!!! I will be traveling on Jan 12th and my POE is going to be San Diego. I'll be back with feedback about the POE

I'm currently @DW gulf of Guinea. West Jupiter DS . Hey, the signal is good, I ve just been booked to board the next chopper in 2hrs from now . I had to write to the superintendent in town cos the Companyman refused to book me out (He told me yesterday evening "Hey man! I really do understand your situation right now, but I can't just allow you to leave until we complete this well, am sorry") . Now, Checking out the first available flight to LAGOS online tomorrow morning . I'm yet to pick up my medical, I hope I don't forget my passport for Visa stamping .

DO NOT FORGET THE PASSPORT, hihi! I know it'll be a bit hectic but make sure you have the orginals of all documents, proof of relationship, medical, new PCC (if they asked for it) and your smile and positive attitude It's all going to be fine, you'll see!

And hey, gotta hate those a**holes CMs! They just care about their well Glad you managed to get someone on land to help you out with this! Have a safe flight and best of luck with the interview! Let us know how did it go

Hello, Singapore Embassy approved my expedite request yesterday, but CEAC web site still shows the same status. I called NVC last night and they said that my case is still with them and they won't send it to Embassy until folks over there request my case. Does anyone know how long do I need to wait for Embassy to contact me with the interview date?

Hi zsalm! I had my interview exactly a week ago and they asked me to bring a new PCC, even though mine was issued end of August as well... So, I think better to get a new one to be on the safe side. Good luck!

Hubby had his biometrics appt today. Medical exam tomorrow, fly to Juarez Thursday, interview Friday....I'm ready for this week to be over!

After 30 days of Administrative Processing, today our status changed to ISSUED on CEAC!!! I'm so relieved and cannot wait to hold my wife again when she gets here. Goodluck everyone!
