OK! So called NVC again today, they said they finally completed all my cases on the 31. Now we have to wait for the interview date. Will call again in like two days to know if they finally scheduled it.

USC abroad since 1982

Married Argentinian husband in 2010

1st Daughter born 2013 (no CRBA)

2nd Daughter born 2015 (no CRBA)

Visa process 2015

I-130 sent: July 14th (delivered July 17th by DHL)

Checks Cashed: July 22nd

NOA1 received: August 5th via mail - California Service Center

NOA2 received: August 18th via email

NVC Received Package: September 4th.

Got NVC Case Number over the Phone: September 21st.

Paid AoS Bill / Send DS261: September 21st.

Paid IV Bill: October 23rd.

Submitted DS-260: October 30th.

Sent AoS and IV Packages: November 10th.

Received Checklist: December 3rd.

New Scan Date: December 4th.

Case Complete: December 31 (they said the cases were completed since Dec. 17th but something was missing in one of them)

Medical Examination: February 2nd.

Interview Date: February 29th

How long did everyone wait to call about an interview date? It's only been a week since CC, but I am anxious.

Looking at the spreadsheet, it looks like many find out their dates about a week after CC. So you may be able to find yours out today.

no it was not expedited. i was expecting interview in march, but it's a F2A and he's over 21. don't know if that had something to do with it

I just flew in to the US last December 30 via Miami and I will be writing my review soon, that is after I recover from jet lag and the new year's celebration !! ?

Thank you very much and Happy New year to you :) . We shall all make it to be with our other half soon. I will update you on my interview. Hope I will be able to make it though. I have waited for this a long time :unsure: .But, am sure with GOD all things are possible.

Hey DonT!!! May I ask where are you offshore? I used to work offshore in the North Sea and during winter time it was crazy with the choppers! :) I hope you're going to make it in time for the interview!!! Tell the Company Man you need to get off ASAP! :P

I'm currently @DW gulf of Guinea. West Jupiter DS :rolleyes:. Hey, the signal is good, I ve just been booked to board the next chopper in 2hrs from now :dance: . I had to write to the superintendent in town cos the Companyman refused to book me out :no: (He told me yesterday evening "Hey man! I really do understand your situation right now, but I can't just allow you to leave until we complete this well, am sorry") . Now, Checking out the first available flight to LAGOS online tomorrow morning . I'm yet to pick up my medical, I hope I don't forget my passport for Visa stamping :) .
