MTL interview March 16 freaking out

Hi all. I feel so stupid. I just said last week that the 20 page interview packet we received was

very explicit and that I didn't understand how people didn't know what to take. My foot is in

my mouth now and we have screwed up and only a week before the CR1 interview.

On one page that talked about the visa photos it said TWO photos. So, my husband went and

had two made. 3 days later I was reading through the info again (after he had gone for his medical

and they had taken one of the two for their records) and saw that we were supposed to have gotten

THREE, given one to the doctor and then taken the other two to the interview. So, we had to go get two

more taken.

Does anyone know if they will deny us if they open the medical envelope and see that the photo the

doctor kept doesn't match the two we give them on interview day? I find it hard to believe that they

would deny anyone that had everything complete, correct etc. because of that. But we are so

paranoid at this point that I'm freaking out a little. My husband called the doctor's office and they

said not to worry about it....that they won't care, just as long as we have two matching when we

go to the interview.

Any experience with this? Any ideas?

My photos I used for the medical and for the visa were different.

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

 Please do not worry! I'm sure they won't notice first of all, and as long as they were taken not that long ago it doesn't matter. I agree with the Doctor's office...use the two ones that match with you.

Good luck at the interview!
