I was approved last thursday, and it said ready the whole time. And now I am suddenly under AP.

I know it's normal for some countries, but I never heared it happening in the Netherlands. I am so worried and so scared.

I emailed them right away (can't call) but for now I don't know what is going on....

AP is normal. Usually the visa is printed and inserted into the passport within a week.

AP isnt the usual thing for the Netherlands tho. That's why I am so worried. It usually goes from ready to issued.

A lot of times when the embassy is printing the visa to place it in the passport they put you in AP. Usually, it will change back soon to ready or issued.

Since you are K-1, has it changed on the CEAC Status Check site to Non-Immigrant visa? If so, then it is highly likely that what I described above is what is going on.

For some reason, on like K-1 or K-3 visas (I am unsure about any other non-immigrant visa), the CEAC site will say Immigrant Visa, but right before they issue it, it changes to Non-Immigrant visa.

Everyone undergoes AP, USCIS, NVC and the Embassy, both pre and post interview. It's not a bad sign. Sometimes they don't even call it out.

I wouldn't worry about it. Usually the visa is printed and inserted within a week. It hasn't been a week since your interview.

And maybe you don't fully understand what AP means. It's the regular background checks, divorce checks, terrorist checks....everyone undergoes AP.

Omg yes, I did not realise that. It did change from immigrant to non immigrant. I hope so much that ur right.

To the others, I do know, that AP is normal for most countries. But in the Netherlands it barely happends, it goes from ready to issued.
