My petition was approved on 8th oct and received on 27th of oct after long wait from nabraska,up to this present time ,no case number and they keep telling us to wait for more weeks,now i am confused and need an advice on what to do.thanks

Hi, our case took 30 days to get a number assigned so don't worry too much

AOS:

2016-11-21 Filed AOS, AP, EAD

2016-12-19 NOA1 Hardcopy received

2017-03-09 EAD and AP approved

2017-09-15 Green card approved, interview waived

 

ROC:

2019-08-12 Filed ROC (one day shipping)

2019-08-13 Application received at Lewisville, TX

2019-08-16 Received case number

2019-11-13 Biometrics appointment (Lubbock, TX)

2020-05-14 Case approved, interview waived

ok thanks,mine have taken more than one month,was approved on 8th oct,and they are still telling us to wait more weeks,i feel like giving up on this process.thanks for your timely reply

Do you know for sure that the NVC has the file?

It can take up to 90 days to get a case number from NOA2.

thank you for the reply,we called them and the told us that they receive our file on 27th oct,i have not read any thg regarding 90days for case number.is the 90days for cc or you are talking about from the date of approvah

I called NVC last night and they told me currently 48 days from the date they received it to get a case number assigned. Then 28 days after that to generate a welcome packet. Looks like another long wait again, just like USCIS Nebraska.
