I am applying for I-130 for my dad. We are at the NVC stage, I obtained the case number and invoice from the operator. I then paid the fee and we filled in the agent form on Wednesday October 7. I have three questions:

1. I wanted to do a telephone review of DS261, but every time I call the operator says they cannot access the file as it is new or someone is working on it. They said it is locked. How long do I need to wait before it can be looked at?

2. The fee is showing as pending but the money was taken from the account, how long before this clears.

3. We choose the wrong person as agent, we picked the beneficiary rather than the petitioner, can I change this in a telephone review.

Answering question 2:

Will take maximum 3 business days to show as PAID.

Yes you can change that no problem by calling the NVC. Otherwise just be patient and follow the normal timelines you will find on this forum for each step. If something is out of the normal time line then you can contact your NVC and address the issue or maybe even ask for a Supervisor.

And no I don't drive Uber.
