Changed Address using AR11 still got a letter on old address

Hey Guys,

My i751 window opens up in 2 weeks. I've been on top of preparing the documentation for my removal of conditions.

However, a few weeks back, I got a letter from USCIS that was posted to my old address notifying me that I have to remove conditions.

The letter was forwarded to my new address as I had mail forwarding enabled with USPS. I'm not sure what the disconnect is because I did fill out the AR11 form online to change my address, when i moved. I have an email confirmation from USCIS-Casestatus@dhs.gov and a confirmation number too.

Would this cause any issue while removing conditions from my CR1 GC.

There is no disconnect. USCIS does not send reminder letters to new/updated addresses. I moved before removing conditions and the reminder was sent to my old address although I submitted an address change. Ignore it. :)

I changed address after I filed and got my biometric letter to the old address. Nothing surprises me... Good thing is, you will file with new address and that's what they will go by ;)

Just file I-751 with new address on forms. It happens all the time, no need to worry.

We moved in August of 2014, and we were half expecting to get a forwarded letter from the old address reminding us that the card was expiring. To our surprise, the letter came addressed to my wife at the new address but still from the Vermont Service Center. (We're now in California.) It seems like there is no consistency.
