K1 application while on F2B

Hi is the anyone in here who has the same case as I do? My parents filed a petition for me and my sister last 2012 and now I have a partner from the US who would like to apply a K1 visa for me.

My question is how will it affect my F2B application and my chances for being approved under K1? thanks in advance

There can be more than one petition- it is only once one is successful and you have a visa that the others get cancelled.

Do you have the same case? My partner don't want to ruin my chance of getting to US that's why he's afraid to apply for K1

Not personally but I know many that happens with, you would end up with k1 probably because it is faster.

I have an F2B too, it doesn't affect my B/B2 and I am certain will not affect my K1.

Thanks for your response guys I have another question though we have been together for quite sometime now but never had a chance to meet up due to our busy schedules, I'm just wondering coz it states in the requirement that you need to meet your fiancé within the last two years

Yes, you should have met within the last 2 years from filing. That is a must, a busy schedule is not a valid reason.

As mentioned, there is no way around that requirement, you must meet in person (keep p-lane tickets, passport stamps, and take photos!). It's also a bonus is your families can be present and you take group photos. So yes, arrange some good face time first, then consider your visa options.
