Query Regarding 214(b) on B1/B2 visa

Hello,

I recently applied for B1/B2 visa and I got a 214(b) rejection on it.

Im a student in Pakistan. And me and my family were going as a family for tour to US. And the CO simply refused my visa application saying that it cannot be accepted. Although I have good ties with my country.

I need help regarding how to remove this 'Intending Immigrant' rejection given to me.

As a young student from Pakistan, your chances of receiving a B-2 visa are slim.

Day 341 (12/10/18) Interview was scheduled for 1/14/19

Day 376 (1/14/19) Interview

Day 385 (1/23/19) Denied

Day 400 (2/7/19) Denial revoked; N-400 approved; oath ceremony set for 2/14/19

Day 407 (2/14/19) Oath ceremony in Dallas, TX

Just being a student you have no real ties to Pakistan. If you were leaving a husband and children behind that might make a difference or if you had a business and land that might help also.

Thankyou all for your replies.

My good ties included:

  • Thrice i got 5 year multiple visas and about 9 or 10 toruist visits to US all returning within 30 days
  • My bank statement of about PKR 10K
  • Good grades as I am a good student
  • Land of my grandfather which I took care of, as rest of the family will be staying in US for good
  • I was also taking some TC's with me for the trip
  • And the Itinerary as well of 15days

But the CO didnt had a look at any of these docs which I took at the interview.

There has to be a way as I have such a good past record of travelling. I never overstayed. And I have no intentions os staying in US as my study is not even complete yet.

Need help!

Odd that you did not get a visa when you have had 3 priors, but that looks the only plus point.

Overall, pakistan B2 visas are hard to come by.

I just wanted B1/B2 visa to tour US with my family.

As rest of the family will be living in US for good which include: my parents who are are LPR and siblings who are US citizens.

Me and my younger brother have Pakistan nationailty. But Im not an intenting immigrants at all. As im well settled here and completing my studies. I have good travel record of never even over-staying in the US.

Unfortunately you're going to be hard pressed to not be seen that way with USC and lpr family
