Bringing Mother and Brother of US Permanent Resident

I recently immigrated from Pakistan in May 2015. My wife is a US citizen here and I am a permanent resident of US at CR1. I want to bring over my mother and brother to US, and I want to knwo what is the fastest and convenient way to bring them here especially my mother. Should I apply immigration for her or the visit visa and file adjustment of status upon her arrival? Please let me know how to work this out.

You can't apply for either yet. You must be a USC yourself to file for either a Mother or Brother. Your wife can't file for them. Your mother will take about a year after you file and your brother will be over 13 years after you file.

Sure they can always try. The burden is on them to show strong ties to their country and every reason to convince the CO they will return.

they have to apply for tourist visa on their own. you cannot do it on their behalf. If visa officer is convinced that they have strong ties in Pakistan and will return after their short visit they will get visa.

The only way for you to apply for your mother and brother is to wait until you become US citizen. Your mother will come under IR-5 category and your brother will come under F4.

They can always apply for visitor visas and the onus is upon them to convince the officer that they have strong ties to Pakistan and they will return after 6 months (max visiting period). They have to supply documents like house ownership, jobs, assets bank statements etc at the time of interview.
