Hey guys! I know this is the New Delhi thread, but does anyone have an idea how long the Bombay consulate is taking currently?

19-Jan-2015: I-130 Sent

21-Jan-2015: NOA

16-Jul-2015: NOA 2 (No RFE's! Yayy)

15-Jul-2015: Case sent to NVC

22-Jul-2015: Case received by NVC

5-Aug-2015: Case # and IIN assigned

6-Aug-2015: Filled and submitted DS-261

7-Aug-2015: AOS fee invoiced and paid(Status: In Process)

10-Aug-2015: AOS fees changed to PAID

10-Aug-2015: AOS and IV packages sent

12-Aug-2015: AOS and IV packages received(SCAN DATE)

13-Aug-2015: DS-261 reviewed over the phone

14-Aug-2015: IV fee invoice received

15-Aug-2015: IV fee paid(Status: In Process)

19-Aug-2015: IV fee status changed to PAID

19-Aug-2015: DS-260 completed

21st-Sept-2015: Put on supervisor review :(

03-Nov-2015: Case Complete!!

14-Dec-2015: Interview Day!!!

hey my spouse case got completed in April and interview was scheduled in June in Mumbai. By reading these posts about New Delhi, Mumbai is definitely much faster in scheduling CR1 interviews. I would say New Delhi - 2 to 3 months while Mumbai - 0.5 to 1 month.

Alright well, that is a relief. I will have my interview at the Bombay consulate too, so was just wondering if it takes 2-3 months to.

We Delhi-ers are trying to keep a chin up through this final phase ordeal. 2-3 months compared to 0.5 to 1 month is a pity, but we suppose patience is a virtue, somewhere somehow.

Just called NVC.. Sept schedule for NWD is complete. October they will start this week.



Fingers crossed .. Wishing and praying badly for October interview or else i will have to work on new PCC for Delhi which will be a new trouble




P.S : the agent at NVC had very strange accent.

I wonder if two weeks would be enough.. main uncertainty is the time between interview and passport pick-up. If it's the avg 3-5 days, that'll be fine, but anything longer would seriously throw a wrench.

I hope someone who has knowledge can chime in.. dilli walo, kuch bolo.
