What a horrible mistake from embassy!!! Hubby got his visa package and while going over it, he found out that under sex (gender) they used female for him instead of male. I already emailed the embassy where he had his interview the automatic response they set said they will get back to me in two business days. Please can someone tell me how we can correct this mistake please?.

he will return the visa to embassy. A friend had his status as single instead of married on visa. He had to return it. Takes about a week.

No he was told to come back after five business days to pick it up after his interview. They got my email and asked him bring back the passport the next day for correction and he should come back on the 30th to pick it up that they were sorry for such a horrible mistake.
