Does any one have any idea how long it takes for new appointments to open?

I've heard before from searching posts here that sometimes dates don't open up until the end of the month. That could be true because when my fiance scheduled his on July 24th, the entire month of September was open. It may open back up for October dates the end of this month.

Could always try to try another browser or to see if it loads up then. Either way, it's possible that September is already filled, and Octobers dates aren't available yet.

yes i confirm what ash. said, same thing for us happened, we scheduled our interview on July 29 for September and approximately all September was empty.

It has happened that Montreal has gone a month or more without having openings for K1. It's best to keep checking and then post when you see availability so everyone can book. Even after you book you can keep checking back to move the appointment up.

So, interview openings availabilities are different for K1 vs IR1? Is it easier to find IR/CR1 appts? Are there currently any IR1 interviews available in September?

K1 and IR1 are different. I also believe that THEY schedule your interview for spousal visa and then let you know when that date is after the NVC has completed the case.. K1 we're allowed to schedule ourselves, as far as I can tell from prior consulate reviews, there are generally K1 slots where all the K1's go.

Montréal releases dates to the NVC. I've only seen them skip a month once since 2011.
