Trump's plan for Islamic State: 'Put a ring around it'

Hey guys! Look! Trump hasn't even got the nomination and he is ready to start a war!! Let's send all those troops who came home back to the Middle East. Let's spend another trillion or so. Let's go over there and take that oil for the US!! Who's with me? Lost? Vol? It's ok if a Republican sends troops and gets involved, right? As long as it's not one of those pesky Liberals, especially a black one.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said on Monday he supported the use of U.S. ground troops to fight Islamic State in the Middle East.

Speaking on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" program, the billionaire businessman said it would take American soldiers to target the militant group.

"They have great money because they have oil," Trump said. "Every place where they have oil I would knock the hell out of them."

"I would knock out the source of their wealth, the primary sources of their wealth, which is oil. And in order to do that, you would have to put boots on the ground. I would knock the hell out of them but I'd put a ring around it and I'd take the oil for our country," he told MSNBC.

In addition to cutting off Islamic State's oil income, Trump said the militants' money in the banking system would also have to be targeted, although he did not offer any details.

"You have to cut that off," he said.

Trump's comments follow last's week's first prime-time televised debate for Republican presidential candidates.

The real estate mogul and television personality leads public opinion polls, putting him at the top of the 17-person pack of Republicans heading into the 2016 election for the White House.

there be ISIS cells in Canada, but none of them control the oil flow there,

I don't belong to any party. But this talk right here automatically disqualifies him for me no matter what party he is in.

Enough war already.

I'm an Independent too. He has put his foot in his mouth enough times he must taste dirt and leather 24/7. If he gets the Republican nomination, I will vote for any other candidate, even if I don't like them either just to oppose this egotistical asshat.

Dude, timbits suck now. They stopped actually cooking them at ALL in-house and now they come in frozen and get reheated.

Met in 2010 on a forum for a mutual interest. Became friends.
2011: Realized we needed to evaluate our status as friends when we realized we were talking about raising children together.

2011/2012: Decided we were a couple sometime in, but no possibility of being together due to being same sex couple.

June 26, 2013: DOMA overturned. American married couples ALL have the same federal rights at last! We can be a family!

June-September, 2013: Discussion about being together begins.

November 13, 2013: Meet in person to see if this could work. It's perfect. We plan to elope to Boston, MA.

March 13, 2014 Married!

May 9, 2014: Petition mailed to USCIS

May 12, 2014: NOA1.

It will be a lot harder to destroy ISIS in 10 years.

If only back in 2003 Bush and Blair knew what would result from their push to go into Iraq at any cost.

Except they did know. They just didn't give a toss.
