This coming Thursday (August 14th) will be 6 months since i received the letter of confirmation.

Still nothing has happened yet, not even a schedule for her interview. No news at all.

Has anyone else been waiting this long?

Ours took close to nine months. It's very frustrating. After all that is done, then there's the long AOS wait.

You are currently waiting for the I-129F petition approval, yes? There will be no news about an interview. The I-129F petition process does not include an interview. After the petition is approved, your foreign fiance(e) will be eligible to apply for a K-1 visa through the US consualte in their country abroad. That is when an interview will be scheduled and take place.

Unfortunately with back logs, what you're going through is normal. It took over ten months for the whole process in getting my husband over here. It was painful, but honestly, now that he's here, that time doesn't matter anymore. It's weird...it took so long. but, he's here now.

I am the petitioner.
