Congrats on approval!

Did you have to call California Service Center about the NOA2 approval? I sent a few days later than you, so I'm just checking if I should call them or just wait? Thanks.

Kemal, you don't have to call CSC about NOA-2. Keep on checking status online until they meet the published duration to process I-130, which is 5 month right now. But I'm sure your petition will be approved soon since it seems CSC is processing I-130 petitions faster than published duration.

Congras .

I believe they will send a recipt letter saying that they have received our case but will keep that on file till the visa number is available. I am planning to wait at least a month before calling them if they have received our case.

Then we will just wait till NVC contacts us again to start the NVC related stuffs which is definitely a year frm now.

Thank you Arken. Please let keep us posted regarding progress/call/follow up.

if you look closely, there is a Filing Date and another date for Family based. Look for section 4A and 4B tables on there.

http://www.uscis.gov/visabulletininfo

The way i understood,

Lets say a spouse under F2A category is already in US, i485 can be applied if the priority date on i-130 is before March 2015. That's so good for all beneficiaries who are already in US.

For F2A beneficiary who are in their home country, they can start submitting required documents to NVC if priority date is before March 2015. But the important question is, will NVC asks for documentation from all people with priority date before March 2015? Because I think one can send documents to NVC only after NVC asks for it.
