Notice of Potential Interview Waiver Case [Part III]

Called USCIS this morning and after getting my call escalated, she said my case was approved!!!

It took 1 year and 3 months!

my Combo card renewal was pending too because of the RFE I got, but that was approved as well.

One tip I want to give is try to get your call escalated, the first person you talk to will always give you the "standard" answer like, you have to wait 60 days, or even just read the same thing your online status says.

but once the escalated call, they know a lot more and have more insight about your case.

another tip is, keep sending e-requests and calling. I sent my RFE reply and they lost it, and I found out because I filed a service request, and they sent me another letter saying they didn't get anything and will let me send it again even though passed my deadline, and I believe it was because I kept calling and trying to get info, otherwise I'd have never found out they lost it. (personal opinion, not for sure),

BTW, my online status never changed after case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

Hi everybody

It took me 1 year and 5 months to get approved!!!

Yesterday I sent another e-request, I did not have any update since my last e-request in November,

and this morning I got an email saying that my case had a update and TA DA.... my green card is ordered and being processed, I got another email saying that my case was approved...

I had my medical more than 1 year ago and I was sure that I had to retake one, but they did not ask for it.

I did not have an interview either.

I believe that in fact they forgot about me in the process and the agent who saw my e-request yesterday, thought OMG!!! I totaly forgot about that case that I berried under thousands of others!!!

Anyway it is good to be finally done with, I am hoping that they are going to send me the 10 years card and not the 3 years one since I am married for 5 years now, never know with USCIS!!!!

Well good luck to those who still are waiting, like anmi suggested, keep sending e-request and by the way anmi, THANK YOU!!! Because i read you yesterday and decided to send another e-request!!! :dancing:(L)
