Hello all,

Congrats to everyone who has been approved and good luck to the ones still waiting for NOA2!

I filed on May 27 and put in an expedite through after a month of filing i130. I haven't received any notification from USCIS about the expedite since . But a day after I called in to expedite, they RFE'd my process the next day. Today they received my evidence so I'm curious to how long will it take more? And then makes me wonder if my process has been expedited or not?

Any guidance would be appreciated!

Hard to say on the expedite- on what basis did you expedite?

RFE's are usually actioned within a couple of weeks.

I don't want to discourage you, but in my personal experience with TSC, an approved expedite doesn't mean your case will be processed...um...expeditiously.

In our case, we were granted an expedite request at about 6 weeks. At 115 days we finally received NOA2. And I was on top of them constantly. And my congresswoman was on top of them constantly. Ironically, I only got my NOA2 after submitting an online case inquiry on the basis of not receiving my NOA2 document by mail. They auto responded that I would hear from them within the next 30 days. I then left them alone and basically gave up the fight for a while. On day 30 exactly after that case inquiry, guess what?...NOA2!
