Did your welcome notice say it was from Missouri? If so, it's probably the same situation.

I called according to the suggestions in the post to ask for a tracking number, twice. Did not work at all. They did not have a tracking number.

So, I got online, made an e-request on 12th (though I was not on the 30 day cut off to make a request according to tier 1s) to say my card not received. On 13th, the next day, my status changed, after 3 weeks. Today, which is 2 days after the e-request, I received my card in the mail and they updated my case with a tracking number tonight =.=. I used the tracking number on USPS, saw that they did mail the card out yesterday.

So, all in all, what it needs, and only needs, is a simple e-request, done by yourself online.!

AFAIK the tracking number only applies if it's already been mailed, which yours hadn't been when you called.

So glad you finally got your GC! But I want to mention that the IO I spoke to on Weds specifically said NOT to request a lost or missing card because it can generate a duplicate card which causes further problems (I think maybe it invalidates the first card? not sure). In many cases it won't help anyway because it would go through the same contractor which is already backlogged.

Can you please post the link for e-request?

https://egov.uscis.gov/e-Request/Intro.doThat's the site but read my note above before you do it.

Sorry for not mentioning that before! >.< I had gotten about 2.5 hrs of sleep before we went to the appointment, so it was hard for me to remember all the details...

But I don't think you should worry too much. I'll be curious to see if it helps!

Yaaaay status updated!!!

"My Card Was Mailed to Me" :D

It doesn't display a tracking number so maybe I'll call USCIS to get one. The IO told me that they are sent by 2-day mail, though, so I bet we'll get it by Wednesday.
