so far, that's to chase a CR-1 or IR-1 (depending on length of marriage at interview day or POE day)

if'n he's calling it a K-3 visa, well, the label is wrong,

but to chase a K-3 visa requires yet another petition to be filed,

and in filing that additional petition, stuff happens:

1. the I-130 is pulled out of its place in the adjudication queue and

2. the I-129F and I-130 are place together at the end of the adjudication queue and

3. the two petitions are adjudicated together then

4. both petitions are sent off to NVC where

5. NVC sees the approved I-130 petition and administratively closes the approved I-129F petition

as

the basis to chase a K-3 visa, an unapproved I-130 petition

no longer exists.

Sorry !

Who wants to waste time with queue yanking at USCIS? If it's your husband (or perhaps a lawyer) please mention to them that it's a real waste of time.

Thanks darnell, but I guess I must have given it the wrong name(my husband did not call it a k-3 visa),that means it's a cr-1 or ir-1 visa, so in filing this kind of petition ,after sending the i-130 and g-325 form, what and when is the first response supposed to get to us

Hi! Just wondering if you can clarify more. What do you mean placed at the end of the queue? I filed both priority daunted for I 130 is April 7th and K3 is April 17th. How far back will they place my application?

I apologize for jumping on your thread but it brought up more questions for me.

Interestingly enough we are at Vermont which according to VJ is processions Apr 25 K3 petitions.

It means the I-130 is taken out of the line at the Apr 7th spot and moved to the April 17th spot.

Also do not rely on when a service center is doing I-129F but instead look at their I-130 spot.

Also ignore any reference to K3, as they don't go by that either.

Beyond that.. vermont says K1 - 5 months, and I-130 - 5 months (yeah sure.. lol)
