Hello everybody, I was wondering if it happened to any of you that went through the K1 visa process, to state to some immigration officer, ether at the border, or at some visa interview or something, to say that you and your boyfriend/girlfriend were friends to avoid issues, but then, you got engaged soon AFTER THAT, and you soon applied for a K1 visa?

If yes, how did you deal with it at the interview?

Or did it cause issues with the K-1 application?

Thank you all! :)

Always used girlfriend. Never had any issues. Visited when the k1 was in progress. Just don't lie and you'll be fine. hundreds of people visit there boy/girl friend every year so it's nothing new to them.

Just bring some prove that you will go home.
