Most people get checklist for small matters like forget to sign or income not sufficient. I864P explain all about income so refer to it. good luck

His income is well over the guidelines so hopefully the different numbers won't matter. Thank you so much! :)

Kerienhby have you had any new things with NVC? Or anyone else who submitted DS260 around July 5 get their reviewed yet? All I know is NVC is all over the place and it's so gut wretching to hear you have to wait you have to wait. It's like hurry up and wait!

UPDATE.. nothing new..

Decided to call NVC again, got thru on the very 1st try, but on hold 30 mins.

Rep who answered said the same thing.. system issues, reviews taking longer. I said it's been more than 6 weeks. When asked how long I should keep waiting, rep suggested.. check back again end of next week. grrrr!

Wow is all I got for NVC. Last time I spoke to a rep he said that they are working overtime and that reviews of these ds-260 forms are taking longer than expected. I don't understand though how others who completed this ds-260 after you are already getting a CC. It certainly isn't first in first out basis. It seems like almost your in a pile somewhere and then when they get around to you then you'll be done. It sucks is all I can say, just saying.

Guys, we have come up with an issue and would appreciate any help.


So last night I tried to check if our AOS fee status had changed to "PAID", and it was then that I realized the NVC people have entered the petitioner, i.e. my husband's MIDDLE name incorrectly. It is just a tiny bit of spelling mistake, they have just added an extra letter by mistake, but what should we do now? We know it is definitely their mistake, since we had the perfect and correct names in our I-130 too, and in all the documents.


Should I call them and let them know about this? If yes, would it delay the processing of our case for days? Or probably even weeks? We are going to send the AOS and IV packages in on Monday.


Or should we just ignore it? :unsure:


Any help would be appreciated guys. Thank you in advance.
