Do you just say can I speak to a supervisor? Last time I ask for a supervisor they asked me why and I told them about my case and they just told me that I need to wait for 30 day time frame.

When I called and asked for a supervisor... I explained very nicely that I got caught up in the site debacle and if they could help... If they said that they couldn't help than I asked for a supervisor... If they didn't allow me to access one than I would thank them and call back again and try and get another agent and go through the same process until I got my way... Be persistent and very nice

Called nvc today. The agent that I talked to told me that it takes 30-45 days for the ds 260 to get reviewed be cause of the high volume they are receiving. I politely ask if I could speak to a supervisor. She told me that they would tell me the same thing and they can't really do anything about it and just told me to wait. I still insist of talking to one and she said she'll find one if there's anyone availabe. Put me in hold for a couple of minutes. Went back and told me no one is available and told me that she'll ask a supervisor to call me back. Back in my head. Yeah right. Said thanks and hang up.

Sorry to hear that and am not sure why you have a hard time reaching out to a supervisor. I called and asked for one supervisor two weeks ago (that was my first time calling)when i received a checklist and called every other day for two weeks and asked for the same exact supervisor and got hold of him 4 times and got my case closed. I just called the nvc an hour ago to see if my ds 260 was reviewed because i did not receive a conformation saying my case was closed other than the being told by the supervisor on phone and 3 N/A's on the ceac website and the lady told me in my case they dont have to review it and i will receive a conformation in a few days with a interview date....

Looking at your timeline, that was awfully fast; did you expedite?

What consulate\embassy your case going to?

Yep... I've gotten a few of those... I just dialed back again and tried another... You can even request a supervisor review ( which is what I did ). We were Case Closed this morning... I checked the status and seen N/A where it used to say paid... I called up and was told case closed... Awaiting for a interview date...?. Your day is coming soon... Just keep checking

We did receive a checklist for the DS-260.... We also received a checklist for the AOS.... My wife put in N/A instead of "0" ... Both were reviewed at the same time... We asked for a supervisor review which seemed to speed things up a bit... What I believe also speeded things up was that we sent in all the AOS and the all other documents in at the same time... They were reviewed with the AOS so when the DS-260 was reviewed it was case completed...

We submitted DS260 yesterday... I have mixed feelings about how long we will wait. Some of you get CC withing 20 days fors DS260, other wait 50+ days.... So annoying and stressfull!

Hello Dingdupme!

First I would like to say congratulations!!! ☺️ After reading your post just now I checked my status online and it also has an N/A in the AOS Fee field where it used to say Paid...But the IV Fee field still says Paid...So my question for you is did both fields say N/A when your case was complete or only one of them? ~Tanya
