i called the lady (at lawyers office) yesterday. i asked if itll take a year more and she told me less than a year. and to see what happens in one to three months from now............... so, well just keep waiting. :thumbs:

No, it shouldn't have taken this long, so it certainly shouldn't take another three months.

As the petitioner you can make an inquiry at NVC about your case status. Don't take no for an answer and lastly don't just accept what your lawyer says. Sounds to me that lady doesn't have a clue whats going on.

:yes: i always make sure everything is on time. but, i figured ´thats why i got a lawyer...., to help me with my case. now, it obviously doesnt seem that way. so, im call nvc, now. :yes:

Don't always trust a lawyer blindly. Some lawyers don't know what they're doing.. others are busy prioritizing "more important or complicated" cases, ie cases where they charge more money. If your case is cruising along, your lawyer might be overlooking it. I'm realizing that seems to be in my case too.

I'd say call NVC and find out what's going on, then contact your legal office again.. dont just talk to a receptionist, but talk to your lawyer.
