Madtown restraining orders do not stop bullets or knives or fists or anything else. I have know numerous persons who had restraining orders and were hurt or killed. I myself had one against my first spouse and it did not stop him from following me and threatening me. I agree the system is broken but rather than complain about it make suggestions to make it better. Anyone can complain, only heroes can fix it.

You called?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I suggest we get rid of restraining orders, give everyone a gun to protect themselves. I just solved most the problems of the country.

I sent a copy of all the advices of Sandraj and other members to a non- profit/ non-government organization where i applied for a pro bono services and they told me they are going to review my case and will tell me the result of their evaluation next week. If my case qualifies for VAWA they might cancel my interview at the USCIS in order for me to file I360. Thank you all ..

It seems the pro bono attorneys do not know how to handle VAWA, they willshould not cancel the AOS INTERVIEW , you should file l360 asap and attend the interview,.you will ask the officer to put a hold in your AOS until final adjudication of your l360. If the attorney doesn't know the basic things about VAWA then he/she can screw up your case big time
