Supporting documents for NVC & Embassy

I need some clarification in regards to supporting documentation for my interview. I have 3 children who will not be coming with me to the states. Do I need to provide custody documents to show for my interview. I have joint custody but my ex wife have final decision making power which since the divorce has limited my time with them. Is this something I need to provide them with. I don't want to waste their time with extra forms but want to be 1000% prepared. Any help would be great! Thanks in advance

Don't worry you will not waste their time with extra documents. The embassy personnel will ask documents...you give them the documents. From our experience and what I have read of others' experiences, everyone brings many more documents then needed. However, the general thought is ...it is better to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it.
