I just realized the name on my visa is wrong

Okay, I will focus on the AOS.

I might include a letter to them with my AOS, explaining to them the situation, hopefully they can just change it in their system.

A user in this thread below did just that, and the problem was rectified.

Also, I can;t help but worry, it took me a year of waiting to be with my girl, I don't want them to deport me on some technicality lol

Why fix a problem that doesn't exist? They did nothing wrong with your name.

It's possible that your SAVE database is wrong, but they could have fixed that. Your AOS should't have an issue though and your SAVE database will be fixed during the AOS.

They're not going to deny you for something like this (when nothing is actually wrong) It's okay!

If it makes you feel any better I think the SSA office staff need to be dropped on their heads repeatedly as children before acquiring that job. Really, many of them are that dense and unaware of even their own rules and regulations.

Yes, I agree. The SSA office and the people working at the DMV generally don't know what they're talking about. You can ask 5 different people and get 5 different answers.
