Got My NOA2 Been Waiting NVC #

I have been following these different threads and the recommendation is to call the NVC for your case #. Well I did this and after waiting 50 minutes the lady spoke way too fast and told me I had to wait 35 days min and it can take 90 days to get it from the California Service Center. I am seeing other people filing around the same time and they have their number. I asked to be transferred to a tier 2 supervisor and she told me I could not talk to one until I waited 35 days.

Do I keep calling back or is that just annoying them?

The first time we called, "Irene" did not even know what a K1 visa was or what the next steps were. She told my fiance that he should go to a local CIS office to have his biometrics taken. Which was just so irrelevant and silly!

So yes, don't worry about calling them repeatedly because sometimes it's just pure luck to talk to someone competent. But don't tire yourself out either, call NVC maybe thrice a week. If you'll notice on my timeline, we got our NVC case number on June 25 and we were given the standard "wait for a couple of weeks for the application to arrive in your fiance's Embassy". To my surprise, the next day, CEAC status stated that the Embassy already received my application!

Good luck!

First make sure that you are calling the immigrant phone number at the NVC. Secondly, you don't have to wait 35 days. This is the standard language they throw at you, and you can call them as much as you like and can afford. Lastly, it is correct that it often does take a longer time for CSC to send it over to the NVC compared to TSC. Have you received any confirmation from the USCIS that they have sent your case to the NVC?

The only notification I have received from UCIS is my NOA2 - I have no confirmation that CSC sent my file. I called them too and they told me they have no way of determining if they sent it to NVC which I find strange

Thanks for all the advice I called the NVC and it is really hit and miss if you find a helpful person. I found out that my visa is there and its been sitting there since July 21, 2015. Wondering when they are going to finally send it to London.

To prepare my fiancé I have pulled together the following documentation for financial support

3 years of IRS transcripts

2.5 years worth of bank statements

A letter from my employer

1.5 years worth of pay stubs

A letter from my bank showing all my deposits and bank balences

An updated letter of intent

3 years worth of W-2's

I hope this will show enough evidence that I can support him for quite some time

I also have our wedding receipts and plan just to re-inforce our relationshop
