I don't know what's going on, our interview date is a ways out as well. Consulate received ours somewhere around 7/20 and our interview date isn't until 9/29. :( . My fiancé contacted the consulate and asked if it could be moved up and they were basically like "lol nope!" So you can give it a shot to contact them, but don't get your hopes up.

wow what the heck! So yours was only a little before mine and the interviews are a month apart. Strange. We also realized our interview date falls outside of our NOA2 validity dates! So we contacted them to see how to proceed but I've been told they'll just "extend" the NOA2 so they don't have to change the interview date ?

Syd Consulate has just received my application...now another waiting game to get my interview scheduled!!

ROC Window Opened: Thursday 7th December 2017

Posted Package: Friday 8th December

Package Received at USCIS: Monday 11th December

Check Cashed: Thursday 21 December

NOA Received: Wednesday 27 December

NOA Dated: Tuesday 12 December

Biometrics Letter Received: Saturday 13 January 2018

Biometrics Letter Notice Date: Friday 5 January

I-797 NOA I751 18 Months Extension Letter Received: 30 July (in an envelope from 'Potomac Service Center' Arlington VA)

Monday July 22: Oath Ceremony

So going back to this fingerprint thing. I was married while living in the UK. got divorced back in the late 90's. Would I need the fingerprints done or as long as I state my former married name would it be fine to go ahead without them?
