Biometrics appointment letter undeliverable. What to do to speed up process?

Hi,


After 30 days of waiting the USCIS finally had an answer for me. The post office marked my package as undeliverable and I have no idea what to do now.


Do I go to the local USCIS office and hope that I did not get an RFE? Will I be helped out when I get there?


Also, a non-profit is considering me for employment and it's very likely that I will be hired. What can I do to keep the delay from getting any longer? I told them 4-6 weeks until I get my EAD.

Do a walk in for your Biometrics at your local office, you may be able to get it done on the spot.

Then figure out what the problem is with your mail delivery and fix it so it won't be repeated.

To receive your EAD will take 60-90 days, average about 70-80 days.

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

What do I bring to the uscis?

Hi!

It has been a while, but I think Joan just brought her passport, NOA 2, and the biometrics appointment letter (I realize that you do not have the letter). The Honolulu Office has been pretty quiet each time we went, so you might get lucky with a walk-in. Double check the address that they have on file while you are there. Good luck.

What exactly is the NOA2? I only have the receipt telling me that they removed the payment from my wife's account

Can't hurt! Actually Joan brought her entire folder (marriage certificate, SSN Card, NOA2, biometrics letter, etc.) but they only looked for ID (passport), NOA2 and letter. Bring whatever you have...better to have it and not need it than to wish you had it!

The NOA (Notice Of Action) will be one of several form I-797s. Basically it is the form that indicates that your petition to Adjust Status has been accepted and is under review (at this stage). Here is more information:

That should do it!!! Did you apply for AP/EAD too? You will receive an NOA for those petitions too, so make sure the 797c if for the proper petition.

The NOA2 is the Notice of Action I-797 that you received when your I-129F was approved.

It is not the I-797c !

You had to send in a copy of it with your AOS application.

You need to bring it with you to the walk in.

You just filed AOS in June so you won't get your approval for EAD/AP until end of August or early September and really need to

find your I-797.

The NOA2 is the Notice of Action I-797 that you received when your I-129F was approved.

It is not the I-797c !

You had to send in a copy of it with your AOS application.

Bring both. If you had a biometric letter then a 'walk in' wouldn't have to bring so much but without the letter it's best to be prepared.

Renewal EAD in production notification text and online, expedite successful 4 days after RFE request response was faxed, Aug25mailed,Aug29received.

Sept. 21 Interview, 2 hour interview, we were separated and asked about 50 questions each for an hour each. IO was firm but professional, some smiles.
Several service requests made, contacted Senator and Ombudsman. Background checks still pending.
July 21, 2017 HOME VISIT.  Went well. Topic thread in AOS forum.
Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.
