God may have changed her mind on this subject. There was a time when god condemned whites marrying blacks, in the same manner many condemn LGBTs today, and yet, there are no record of a white person being sent to hell for marrying a black person. God is very fickle, unstable and infinitely disingenuous - just look at the entropic nature of the universe...

The problem I have with that is that more often than not it's those who claim to believe in the bible and thump it vigorously that tend to be closeted homosexuals.

For those who don't follow the bible - or any other work of fiction for that matter - homosexuality seems not to be a problem.

Even if you follow the Bible, you're not supposed to judge people. Many people just pick out the parts that suit their agenda.

Most people don't practice love thy neighbor and bash people on race, religion, sexual preference, ethnicity, etc, etc.

Ya know it's funny how people pick and choose things out of the Old T to apply onto other people. Then they exclude all the tons of things out of the Old T that doesn't apply to them because they say only the New T counts. I wish they'd make up their minds someday, it's getting tiring.

I think many people and clergy are guilty of cherry-picking or selective teaching. This behavior is covered in the Bible also, but many people fail to see it or understand the meaning of these two verses.

Revelation 22;

18. I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book.

Male on male sex was condemned. Believe it or not, you can be a celibate homosexual too, just as you were a virgin when you go married since you follow the Bible. And of course you have nevermasturbated or ejaculated from oral sex or had a hand job since those are just as sinful as homosexual sex and bestiality. Love thy neighbor supersedes all the judgmental parts you love.

Of course you pick and choose, just like you do with the constitution. The Second Amendment is great, but you don't like the all men are created equal part, freedom of speech for all, etc. I believe it's called hypocrisy.
