My fiancé applied for a tourist visa last year and got denied and now we are filing for a k-1 visa and everything is set to go and now we just finished scheduling for the interview. The problem is the confirmation for the interview has her old DS-160 number and not the new one cuz she hasn't submit it yet.. Would that be a problem ? She's going to do her medical on Monday and we can't call today cuz it a holiday in the Philippines.. Any suggestions on how we can solve this.. Or how we can change it to the new one? Thank you

She just has to go online and fill out a new DS-160 and bring that to the interview....really no big deal. Us the old to get into the door since that's the one tied to the interview date but.....When she goes in for the interview hand them the new one and explain the old one had a mistake/mistakes on it. It happens and people have success doing this.

Thanks for the reply.. What about when she gets her medical? The hospital needs to forward it to the U.S. Embassy ... They will have the old one ..

Use the old one for everything until you get to the interview then hand them the new one.

No. Forget about the old DS-160. Complete a new DS-160 then bring the confirmation page for that to the interview with you.

FYI, complete the new DS-160 before doing the medical as they will ask for a copy of the confirmation page the 2nd day of the medical.

Use the old one for everything until you get to the interview then hand them the new one.

 Wrong!

The old DS-160 has most likely expired by now. You have to submit the new DS-160 and re-schedule your interview. Don't even bother bringing the old confirmation page.
