Problems contacting Frankfurt embassy

For me that varied a lot. One time I received a reply within one hour, another time it took about a day, and this time I am waiting since last week Wednesday. If I do not hear anything by tomorrow I will email again as this is really important to me. I mean, they kind of lost my documents so I think it's totally fine if I remind them about that once more. Trying not to lose my mind over their slow vs. quick replying policy. Maybe they reply to easy matters very quickly and those that are more complicated are stacked.

The rule in Frankfurt is that you do not submit anything at all at the interview. Just come with your passport and leave that there.

I mailed them twice, once about self-sponsorship, once about the medical. Both times it took 2 or 3 days ... although they didn't answer all of my questions each time.

Okay...so, 3-4 days max..Man, I am going crazy here - I am worried something is wrong but they aren't telling me!

I guess I'll wait another 2-3 days and then email again...

Rachaelhperry4:

The rule in Frankfurt is that you do not submit anything at all at the interview. Just come with your passport and leave that there.

We just got the NOA2 last night, and I am trying get everything prepared for the packet 3. So does this mean we don't need to worry about providing additional of evidence of an on going relationship? I have seen it about other embassies.Great if not. I was going to send a copy of my dress receipt as part of wedding evidence.

I know the feeling! I just sent another message saying that I really need a reply and that it is important that someone looks into the issue as otherwise I cannot schedule an appointment. I have my final Master's exam later today and these embassy problems are making it hard to focus :(

I know it's hard to believe since other embassies want to see all that stuff. But hey, we already submitted everything, and we're a low-fraud country. They know we don't get a better deal by living in the US, so our motives must be real.

Thank you all for your support! It all went well and I feel 50 pounds lighter :D So from tomorrow on I can step on the embassy's toes daily. Maybe all of us that are waiting on a reply to our inquiries will be lucky and hear from them tomorrow! (That's what I am thinking almost every day that passes without notice: I'm sure tomorrow there will be good news!)
