CEAC says ISSUED, how long the visa will be available?

Then yes that timeline should be good. It would have been alittle longer for my wife because she lived in the mountains of Mindanao and they had to schedule for a guy to head out there. So she just took a bus the next day to the 2go office in Davao City.

Yes but there was a weekend in the middle of those 5 days, so it was only 3 days... very impressive.   Usually have to do a pickup up at MOA to get the package that quick.

If you spend just a little time to understand why CFO exists, this would not be a question/statement you are making. Because of the nature of the desire to make a better life for themselves and for their family, many Filpina are vulnerable to human trafficking. Sure you say, but they are getting married why do they need to attend.  We have read cases here and on news sources where human trafficking is a problem. One of the main sources is girls from the Philippines who marry foreigners and once out of the Philippines they are taken advantage of from their husbands. I'll provide you one article, but there are many more if you research, and once you get up to speed on this topic you'll have a better understanding.

Thank you. I do understand and am well aware that human trafficking is a huge problem in Asia and like you said, some of these girls have no idea what they are getting into. The government has no rights to stop people from migrating through a legitimate marriage, therefore they are required to do a seminar and be as informed as possible. What I DON"T get is why they have to go back to Cebu/ Manila to get the sticker after the visa has been issue ? Can they not give a certificate after attending this seminar or a stamp on the passport ? The logistics of things are very useless. My wife lives in Davao and we have an infant, and I had to come home to do all the paperwork. She has to fly to manila for CRBA interview, fly back to SLEC because they need a week prior to interview, fly in again for the interview and now we gotta fly to Cebu to get that stupid sticker which serves NO purpose whatsoever. Plane tickets aside, lodging, logistics and a great waste of time.

Don't complete CFO until after the passport with visa is in hand, then it is "one stop shopping".   (yes I know - hindsight)

 

The sticker in the passport looks very much like the visa, it really isn't a "sticker".  If they made it a simply sticker or relied on just the certificate some creative person with a printer full of ink would be churning them out...    

 

So you need the sticker to let the people at the airport know you have attended and passed the seminar, one on one interview.   Can't even get your boarding pass without the CFO sticker now a days.

She could have taken CFO after getting her visa. She just needed to take her visa to CFO, take the class and afterwards they would have stuck the sticker inside the visa. Done.  Next item you missed is that CFO just was in Davao and will be there again in June.  Also, you can get the sticker at NAIA so there are many ways of getting the sticker. Trust me, I feel your pain.  My wife and her two children were flown all over the place from Mindanao, so that they could complete everything for their visa's. So you're singing to the choir my friend.

That's why I said that they were "just there" and now for PDOS will be coming. Others maybe interested in the June date also.  The example is that CFO comes to Davao all the time.  It wouldn't surprise me if they don't open an office/facility on a more perm basis much like they did near Clark to serve Mindanao.
