NVC case number and separating parents immigration

How do you receive NVC case number? I know you can call but do you get and email or snail mail?

If it is an email how do you register for it?

Also it seems that my dad's civil documents will have issues that will resolve slower than my mothers.

So at which point and how do I separate their cases so my mom can come earlier? (I want them to go to the embassy separately)

I am us citizen applied i-130 that was approved June 19th 2015. This is a consular processing.

You call to give them the email addresses. If you do not they may use an email from a G-1145 or they will snail mail everything.

Thank you. I posted and my post disappeared. So I posted again.

I called but they didn't take my email address. And they say it takes 30 days for them to receive the case.

I feel like she didn't even check when I gave her the date. I have seen many people submit DS-261 in 30 days so they should have at least case number by now.
