Ughhh... After the whole ordeal of the website malfunction the NVC has managed to lose all of our civil documents and has given us a check list and now in supervisor review... Of course this will delay us by another 30 to 40 days... How can you lose something that is stapled together and has the name and case number on every document... Gross incompetence is a understatement.... Sheeeeshhhh

You're telling me?! I have never in my life dealt with an agency whose processes are extremely bureaucratic. They behave in a "no one can question me" manner. Their customer representatives are so rude and lack empathy. I am just happy I'm almost done with them.

I feel your pain. They are saying our marriage certificate is not in the package which is complete horsesh*t. Our case is now in supervisor review which is delaying everything further. Every time you talk to someone - they all have different answers.

isnt there anything we can do about this? complain to someone ?? complain to a higher up agency or something.. because so many people are suffering and it just does not make any sense at all, as to why wer have to deal with this kind of unprofessionalism its not like we are trying to smuggle someone into the country!

i have been in supervisor review, whatever the heck that means.

but for a govt agency this is pathetic.. this is where our tax dollars are going,.

I called to speak to a supervisor last week and she said she would handle the case and get back to me in couple of days with approval.

I called again monday and they still hadnt reviewed the case or got the case, and this supervisor said shes gonna ask for the case file and look at it and let me know in 2 days or so, lets see what these two days bring.. i am gonna wait before i call again

seems like no matter who you talk to, they kinda tell you what you want to hear to get you off the phone. Nothing is consistant and NOTHING gets done like they say it gets done. With all the computer issues they were having you would think that they would have some sort of expedite going on to make up for those people who are left behind. There is no reason good enough WHY NVC should lose any documentation that anyone sends it. You are a government agency that we are all trusting to process and get this done. Whoever had a point earlier or in another thread that "it's not like we're trying get people here illegally" we are trying to be with our loved ones and they don't make it any easier at all. It's very frustrating. The worst is when you finally get through on the line and someone hangs up.

Exactly! i said that above, that we are not trying to bring people here illegally.. we provide massive amounts of paperwork first to USCIS and then to NVC so i dont understand what more proof they need, and what exactly are they trying to review and evaluate. its just become absurd. and i was told uscis is the hard part but nvc is a breeze. i beg to differ!. it cannot take this long to review some documents and match the information with the ds260 form. they have all these people workign over there and have crazy work hours 7am-12am and yet not a single account gets processed.

so frustrated.

not to MENTION the amount of money paid and time spent gathering all the said information. Oh pay a few hundred dollars for this form to processed and pay all this money for this. And spend more money to get your medical done And then spend more money flying to have your interview when it comes time and they can't even exceptions for all of us that are struggling to just get approved. They have all our said information. It's a disgrace when they lose documents or say "you didn't submit it" when you did.

what proof do you have that the civil docs were lost ?

are you certain about it ?

i say, instead, they haven't been added to the casefile yet.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

There is no proof other than what the agent told me... I called again this morning and explained the crazy call from last night... The agent this morning said that the documents were logged in a couple of weeks ago... She said not to worry... That the documents are there and not to worry.... Different agent different answer...
