The U.S.P.S. Tracking number that was given to me by the USCIS shows that my combo card left USCIS on May 12 and was out for delivery on May 13 but was never delivered or signed for.

Tried to file a complaint and investigation with the postal office with no results. They ensured me they would look into whether or not it was returned to sender but they have not been able to locate the card (or get back to me without me having to call them). I also contacted the the USCIS and opened a service request for them to see if the card was retured to them and they never responded to me in the time frame they promised or mailed me the letter they promised me to inform me of the progress of this service.

I called back after the date they gave me to look into this matter and was transferred multiple times to higher up representatives. Finally, one woman continued to aggressively yell at me on the phone and inform me that it was the post offices fault and they will not send me a new card, I will have to re apply and pay all of the fees all over again, and then she hung up on me while I was in the middle of talking. I have since initiated contact with my local congressmen/women to try to resolve this issue.

I just don't know what Im supposed to do at this point. They can see the tracking number on their end and they know it was not delivered or signed for yet they refuse to help me in any way. I don't think I should have to pay another $700 to re apply and replace the card.

I also don't want to wait until my green card comes because I need the combo card now to get my drivers license switched over so I can begin working (the company that hired me requires a valid New York State license). Everytime I want to visit my family now as well in Canada I have to drive to Buffalo (1.5 hrs each way) to get a one time entry parole pass.

The green card interview letter I recently received states that although I may not need to interview, they are experiencing delays that could bring me green card decision passed December. This is just way too long to continue sitting around waiting for something to happen!

Anyone have suggestions? Please?

I have not heard of being able to get AP at the border, what format was this in?

usps tracking says what, exactly, from point 0 to point 999?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

I will keep you updated!

I have not heard of being able to get AP at the border, what format was this in?

They made me hand in 2 passport photos and wrote a letter and attached the photos to the letter which gave permission for my re entry into the U.S. Without forfitting my current AOS status, it is a one time AP entry valid for one year that needs to be stamped upon re entry into to US. I made an infopass apt. Online to get this and need to do this every time I wish to cross the border now without my combo card. They informed me at the border that is was the old way they used to do it before the cards existed

usps tracking says what, exactly, from point 0 to point 999?

It says:

may 12 departed USCIS

May 12 Arrived at Rochester sorting facility

May 13 Departed Rochester sorting Facility

And then nothing else. The woman I spoke with in Buffalo during my info pass apt. Printed the tracking number and told me that it would say deilvered and they would have needed my signature so they can verify by the tracking number that it has not been delivered. She is also the one who whispered under her breathe that I should contact local congress

You also mentioned it was out for delivery on May 13.

Sorry but when this headache happens, USPS and USCIS are not responsible for anything. They would trust each other, not real victim. FYI, you are dealing with 2 federal departments here.

Congress members won't be helpful in case of lost documents.

Thank you, I've already opened a claim with the postal office. They confirmed with me that it was not delivered based on the tracking #. The last update just says that it left the Rochester sorting facility and there are no other scans after that .
