Just want to let you all know that our case has been approved. I just received sms at 21:30 EDT. I hope others here get the same message very very soon.

I actually got a notification from the iPhone app. It only said "Case Updated". I was so worried, wondering if it's RFE. Then a minute later I got the SMS message followed by the email 5 min later.

Another 15 day approval! I am incredulous, but I do believe in the "zero-one-infinity" rule of set theory... if it happened to two people, it could happen to all of us :D

Hopefully us later July filers will speed thru as well. Exciting times, these are, at the bureaucratic "paradise" that the CSC has become...

I'm laughing because when I got the text it only said, "Your case has been updated", and I swore it would be an RFE as well. Imagine the relief!

Thanks :) Next question on my timeline it says "Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between January 14, 2016 andFebruary 17, 2016*. "

Is this correct, i know it's an estimation that could change but that seems like an awful long time. I'm just wondering what other people's experience has been.

Are you routed to the Texas Center or the California Center? Right now you have it set for the Texas Center so it's basing your timeline off of that. If you update your timeline to the correct center that your petition got routed to you should have more accurate timeline.

Hi everyone -

Sounds like there's been a lot of great successes for July. I'm posting here for the first time, and unfortunately I think something wen't wrong with my application.

I'm a US citizen currently residing in the Philippines and sent off my I-129F form on July 13, 2015 via FedEx from Makati to the Lewisville Lockbox address, with the e-Notification form filled out and everything. I have yet to hear back from the USCIS as of today (8/2/2015), and its already been 3+ weeks, no email, text, or hard copy for NOA1.

My fiancee and I are getting really worried that something was either missing from the application or maybe we didn't include enough evidence (submitted a ton of photos, chat logs, etc.), but I highly doubt this would be the case. I paid the visa fee as instructed by a representative from the US Embassy in the Philippines (visited a BPI and paid the ~P12,000 K1 visa fee), however my application package shows no evidence of this since the Philippines website instructs you to hold onto your receipt of visa fee payment.

Did I do something wrong? Completely in the dark here on what to do, especially since I'm seeing several people filing around my date and getting quick notices. This is every bit of frustrating as it sounds :/

We're trying to make it back to the US by mid next year for one of my sibling's wedding and I would hate to see this process stalled any further.

Any advice is much appreciated.

My best guess would be, the adjudicator whoever received the packet is not familiar with the way you filed it. In most cases there is money order or check front of the packet and they are expected to see, as opposed to, in your case, you had paid for the application fee outside of US before you sent it. I'm not so sure how the recipient knows that the correct fee has been paid in your case since I'm not familiar with the procedure you followed per USEM employee.

If there was something wrong with the application, they would have sent RFE or reject the application for whatever is missing for insufficient funds / no signature etc... As you have not heard anything there is a possibility that the packet is somewhere at the USCIS.

If I were you I would have waited to file it until Im back in states knowing that i was coming back to the states soon.

I'm sorry not so much help.

Gey sk2006ucf, so from what I know you've paid the visa and not the petition which is $340 and is more than PHP12,000. Make sure to keep that reciept because once your petition is approved, that visa fee has to be paid anyways. I believe it's equivilant to $265. Which is also different from the around $245 you'll have to pay for the medical at St Lukes Clinic in Manila. I would wait until your petition is approved before doing this because it is o ly valid for 6 months and you need it to enter the U.S. and if yours expires before you get the visa, you'll have to do it again.

So, your packet should be filled in with your US address. And should be sent from the US address so if you could send it to someone you trust in the US for them to send through Priority Mail to the P.O. Box number.

I wouldn't bother with Express mail because I know some have complained of problems sending to the Express Mail address and its only a day or two difference either way.

Sorry to say that I think you have to re-do the packet. Because the cheq or money order wasn't there and because your address was coming from the Philippines, I have a feeling the USCIS is not going to notice your packet.

It says somewhere on their website the petitioner must be a domicile of the US, so you would also want to include possibly a letter of explanation of how you're still a domicile of the US and some evidence. I sent copies of latest tax returns and proof that I'm registered to vote. Also, if you have a driver's license with your US address you could include a photocopy of that.

It's pretty much any proof that your stay in the Philippines wasn't permanent and that you still have ties to the US.
