Thank you! Now the waiting begins!

We mailed on the 29th of June and it was delivered on the 1st of July to the lockbox.

Now that there's no more holidays coming you will get your NOAs soon!

We are also going to be July filers for AOS. It took 3 weeks to get our marriage certificate so we are going to start gathering our forms and preparing to send off in the next couple of weeks.

Heya! Likewise! :) We got our paper NOA1's last night and they're officially dated the 2nd, so I guess that's our date. It took us a bit to get it all together because CBP messed up his I94 and listed his country as the GDR instead of just Germany.

I have not yet received NOA text/email from USCIS. My packet was delivered on July 2nd, is this normal?

With the holiday, they might have been delayed that weekend. Keep an eye on your bank, and see when the check clears. Then you'll be getting your info! :)

07.17.2015 Biometrics appointment letter received

09.02.2015 Received email - EAD approved

09.08.2015 Received EAD approval letter/Case updated-card mailed

09.10.2015 Received EAD card ?

09.15.2015 State ID received

12.01.2015 Interview. Approved a couple of hours after. ??

12.04.2015 Green card was mailed out

12.05.2015 Received approval/welcome letter by snail mail

12.10.2015 Green Card in hand ???

65 days until EAD approval

155 days until Green Card approval

Hello! I was just wondering if this thread is just for people adjusting from k1 or everyone that's applying for AOS.

Hi! We are all K-1 here at the moment, but it also applies to spouse visas. There are different threads though for people adjusting status from non-family based visas such as work, student and travel visas.

We received our biometrics appointment letter in the mail yesterday... appointment is scheduled for the 24th! :dancing:

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Hi everyone,

My AOS packet was delivered to Chicago lockbox on July 3, but I have not yet recieved any text/email notification (I filled the notofication form G-1145). The check has not been cashed either. I am worried why it is taking so long for me? Many people have received their NOA within the first few days from delivery date. Should I call them?

I know how you feel , mine was received July 6 but I haven't received a text or email either and the check hasn't been cashed.

my thoughts to you is to just wait it out . This whole process is about waiting. Remember that they were closed July 3-July 5. They are probably a little behind. You'll receive you're NOA1 when you least expect it, give it a few more days.

And I've learned not to compare my case to others because EVERY case is different and that will just drive you crazy

I would think soon! We, as well as user Guigui&Arlee, filed the same time as you, and we both got appointments for July 24th!

Just received the email and text that our case was received ! Now to wait for the actual receipt notice :)

Awesome! Good for you!

By the way on USCIS website my receipts for EAD and AP are dated July 2 and green card application July 8, but for some reason e-mails and texts were from July 9. Waiting for hard copies too.
