Hey everyone, new to the NVC club. I am wondering if anyone knows the time frame on how long it takes for each USCIS service center to transfer a case to the NVC?

I've heard that time frames vary depending on which service center your case is coming from.

how do they plan to take the system down this weekend ? They are closed on Friday and no body works on the weekend . I feel the guy you talked to was on crack lol .

Hey everyone, new to the NVC club. I am wondering if anyone knows the time frame on how long it takes for each USCIS service center to transfer a case to the NVC?

I've heard that time frames vary depending on which service center your case is coming from.

It took our case just over 2 weeks coming from California. And about 2 more weeks til we got a case number.

IR1 Visa

Service Center: CSC

Marriage: 2011/09/24

Baby girl: 2012/12/31

I-130 Sent: 2015/04/08 - USC filing from abroad

NOA 1: 2015/04/10

NOA 2: 2015/05/20 - 40 days!!

NVC Received: 2015/06/05

Case number assigned: 2015/06/17

Submitted DS-261: 2015/07/05

Paid AOS fee: 2015/07/10

Paid IV fee: 2015/07/27

Submitted via email AOS and IV packets: 2015/07/27

Checklist: 2015/08/05 - for DS-260 was having website difficulties and didn't realise they would review our case in 11 days.

Submitted DS-260: 2015/08/07

Supervisor Review: 2015/09/14 - 38 days after submitted DS-260 and still waiting

Checklist/Email from Supervisor?: 2015/09/18 - for missing police certificate, even though we were suppose to submit directly to the Australian consulate. Emailed them as requested stating that info and called stating that info was told to wait another 30 days for them to respond?!?!?!?! :ranting: At least now I'm in direct email communication with a someone.

Case Complete!! - 2015/09/22 - 110 days

Took a week before USCIS mailed it, a week to arrive, and then two weeks to get a case # (this seems to be about a standard timeline nowadays)

Hello guys!how we are going to know our scan date?

We sent our aos and iv docs on June 26, 2015 until now nvc didnt send us email if they got our papers. God speed!

Hi Gracybird.

Usually NVC sends a confirmation email. But I and some other folks I know on VJ did not receive any confirmation. My document was delivered on 15 June and I'm still waiting for it to show on their system.

You should call to confirm.

I sent my docs on may 27th.

Nvc said that they received on 16thjune.....

sooo SD is 16June

My fifth month in NVC, wish this july is my happiest month.

Scan date 16th June.

Still no news for my IV payment... No access to payment portal. As per the below link, I wish they fix it by early next week.

We are still experiencing problems with some online immigrant visa application forms. We hope to have a fix in place for this by early next week.

SO - Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem:

My DS-261 Fee was paid on June 1st. It showed as PAID until maybe 2 weeks ago, and now shows 'NOT PAID'. However when I click the payment receipts link, it shows as PAID there!

I called NVC last Thursday and spoke with someone who kindly reviewed my DS 261 with me, and DS 261 now shows as 'COMPLETE' on the NVC site. I guess this means they must have received my payment, right? Or else they wouldn't have reviewed the DS 261?

Consequently, my DS 261 has been complete for almost a week now and I still have no access to the IV payment link

Should I wait it out a few more days? Or just go ahead and call?

March 31, 2015 - I-130 packet mailed through USPS express mail

April 1, 2015 - Packet Delivered

April 3, 2015 - NOA1, routed to Nebraska Service Center

April 6, 2015 - Payment of $420 cashed

April 9, 2015 - Hard copy of NOA1 received in the mail

May 19, 2015 - I-130 case APPROVED!!!

May 27, 2015 - Case sent to Department of State NVC

June 3, 2015 - Case received by NVC

June 16, 2015 - Case number obtained

June 17, 2015 - DS-261 choice of agent completed over the phone ( unable to sign in online )

June 20, 2015 - Received WELCOME LETTER (enclosed with AOS fee invoice and document cover sheet)

June 21, 2015 - Received IV invoice fee through email ( still unable to sign in online )

June 25, 2015 - Mailed payments of both AOS and IV fee (two separate money order from USPS in one envelope, overnight delivery)

June 30, 2015 - Received email confirmation, both AOS and IV payment received

July 2, 2015 - Called NVC and confirmed AOS and IV shows PAID and Cleared in their system ( since i can't log in online )

July 2, 2015 - Mailed documents (overnight), only to find out NVC is close today (july 3), so package is held in the NH post office, scheduled delivery updated to july 6

July 5, 2015 - Finally able to sign in to CEAC website and filled up DS 260 and SUBMITTED!!!

July 27, 2015 - CASE COMPLETE!

August 24, 2015 - Interview schedule assigned

September 24, 2015 - INTERVIEW DATE at US EMBASSY MANILA, PHILIPPINES

September 28, 2015 - Visa Packet received (picked up at 2GO SM MOA branch)

October 10, 2015 - ENTRY IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, reunited with my wife finally!!!

Yes, write the beneficiary's FULL name, their date of birth, and the NVC case number. If you use a pen, make sure it doesn't bleed through to the front.

New month, new hope. Waiting for my CC. I called today and it still hasn't been reviewed, my case got flagged for review June 16th. I turned in my DS260 May 4th. Been at NVC since Feb 27th (thats's when I got my case number from a rep on the phone). My original Scan date is March 25th. I hope they catch up with the backlog soon. Sending good vibes to everyone!!!

I have a question about PCC and passport. My wife was issued a PCC on her currently valid passport and by the time her interview will be scheduled she will have less than 6 months for the passport to expire and hence she will need to renew her passport. Is that going to create a discrepancy? The PCC has the current PP number printed. Logically it should not but I would like your experiences
