Hi Guys,

My Stepdaughter might need to return to school in Colombia ( first semester Sophomore at a University in Bogota) BEFORE her permanent green card arrives.

My Wife and SD are IR-1 and IR-2 recipients that arrived on May 27, and SD's semester begins in 4 weeks.

SD intends to transfer to a school here in the States after this semester, but she's locked in to this final semester in Bogota first.

Do you guys think she would jeapordize her Visa by traveling BEFORE the permanent one arrives?

no, not at all. she's fine. visa turned into an I-551 document already at the POE.

what news of ELIS status?
