Really? I thought about calling the DOS today because it's a different number and when I had called NVC they wouldnt give us any info on our case. :/ we were interviewed June 15th and thought our status would've said AP by now since some others like ours had. But I guess they havent processed ours yet :( it's annoying checking CEAC and getting the same 'ready' and updated June 24th date. And no change to non immigrant either!

Since you're done with the interview, NVC would be hands off with it and you can only get updates through your embassy or the very unreliable CEAC website. Sorry :(

My case status on CEAC did the same thing. Had interview on June 25th, was approved, then the next day everything changed. Case creation date changed to June 26th, status update date June 26th, and went from immigrant to nonimmigrant, but still says ready. The status updated again today but still says ready. Really hoping to see something change soon.

No, unfortunately, it's not. I wish it was. Our embassy has already told us that DOS is still processing it. It's not as simple as the consulate deals with it now or else that would be SO much easier! DOS is still doing the biometric checks or whatever, and ours hasn't been cleared. I thought we could call them, though, for our case info. Are you sure that we're talking about the same thing? Lol.

Hi,

I'm confused about where/how to see status updates from NVC. I've scoured the site and can't seem to find any way to create a profile or look anything up.

Thanks!

Ed

I ended up calling NVC on Wednesday, June 24th and speaking to someone who told me it was definate that we were approved. He told me I had to wait a bit because of the technical failure but we were for sure approved. Our visa came up as issued on the 29th and now is on its way to us.

Danielle and Jake,

It will probably go to AP again and then 2 or 3 days later switched to issued. That is what happened with us.

I was checking my status online through nvc.

June 19 "administrative processing" after submission of 221g missing documents.

June 23 updated become "ready" then

June 24 back to "administrative processing"

June 29 updated again it says "ready"

aaahhh.. July 1 back to AP so frustrating, quite anxious, back and forth i was hoping it says issued already after ready then back to AP again. ?
