so most of you know me by now im pretty sure at this point now im going to get sent home woke up this morning to this

As of June 28, 2015, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice.

and i havent been able to open a joint bank account yet or anything as bank wouldn't let me without SSN im so worried about our evidence im positive denied banned and sent home its so devastating thinking of that all we have right now are pictures, letters, joint credit card, phone bill in husbands name proof that he provides for me and pays for my phone and took it out under his name. Also his emergency contact as work pretty much thats about it as we dont own our house we live with my father in law and my husband pays our part of the bills as i don't have a job so worried.

you can be listed as the beneficiary on any 'payable upon death' instructions on your husband's bank account. the two of you will have to go in, talk to one of the vp's there at your branch bank, get it done. then include a copy of these instructions on interview day.

i never wrote of 'being added to his account', sorry.

please reread what i wrote.

and another thing - you have a joint credit card account, but is your name on the monthly statements? if yes, bring all monthly statements to the interview.

ok. is he nearby today? ask to review the last monthly credit card statement. if he was successful in adding you in, your name should be shown on the statement.

Why don't you have SS card yet?

I think you are over worrying.

Joint bank isn't the only thing that they look at.

What about these?

1) Are you on his health insurance?

2) Are you beneficiary on his life insurance?

3) Are you beneficiary on his other financial assets?
4) Have you filed tax jointly?
5) Why don't you guys draw up a lease (even if living with his parents) and add both your names?

I sent in the paperwork that we had to fill out for our joint bank account. that worked as well.
I just had my interview on Thursday. also adjusting from vwp...
It was just 10 minutes and she didn't even wanna see too much. I gave her a print out of our at&t bill that had our two phone numbers on it, the paperwork of our joint bank account and a copy that says i am on his car insurance. She did ask if my name was on our lease for the apartment, I didn't have that either so she just said ok.
I had a buch of pictures with me and she didn't even wanna see those. I was super stressed out but the lady was very nice. Just be polite and im sure it will be okay. Tell them that you couldn't get much more because you don't have a ssn yet. Im sure they will understand.

Hey :D

Same here, I was approved as well (06/25) and my status still hasn't changed either. It made me a bit nervous but i thought maybe they just don't update it for some people...They just approve us and then forget to change the status? She said the card would be in the mail within 1-2 weeks.
