Timeline

My interview date was June 16th, I was changed to ISSUED as of June 26th though it didnt show on my account until last night i am POSITIVE of...

I haven't gotten the email yet from Loomis however saying my Passport is ready for pickup. worried it wont come this week as tomorrow (wednesday) and Friday are holidays for the Montreal consulate.

June 22: CR-1 Interview at Montreal Consulate = Approved

July 6: E-mailed Consulate as status has been 'Ready" since Interview with same date

July 7: Case Status as "Ready" and Date Updated

July 13: E-mailed, no update again

July 13: Case Status as "Ready" and Date Updated

July 24: E-mailed again, no update

July 24: Case Status as "Ready" and Date Updated

July 27: Date Updates by itself still "Ready"

July 28: Get Email from Montreal US Consulate requesting to go back and redo fingerprints

July 28: Drive halfway to Montreal

July 29: Get to Montreal

July 30 (8am): Redo fingerprints, consular officer apologizes for having us comeback for fingerprints, issues us the Visa on the spot

July 30 (3pm): VISA in HAND!

August 3: Florida move!

Has anyone that got the "Issued" status for CR1 actually received their Visa yet?

nope not yet. Mine went into final processing on Monday 6th July and I still haven't received the email from Loomis that visa is ready to pick up - hoping today or tomorrow I have that as I am planning to leave on Monday!!

congrats sammyann - can i just ask when your visa went into final processing how long before visa was in hand?

congrats sammyann - can i just ask when your visa went into final processing how long before visa was in hand?

It takes 5 days from when it says issued to when loomis sends your email to pick up the visa..

Mine was issued on the 29 june

July 24: E-mailed again, no update

July 24: Case Status as "Ready" and Date Updated

July 27: Date Updates by itself still "Ready"

July 28: Get Email from Montreal US Consulate requesting to go back and redo fingerprints

July 28: Drive halfway to Montreal

July 29: Get to Montreal

July 30 (8am): Redo fingerprints, consular officer apologizes for having us comeback for fingerprints, issues us the Visa on the spot

I'm 15 days away from my interview.... I've been watching what's been happening to get some guestimate as to when we may expect ours ***fingers crossed***

Met in the SCA - DRACO INVICTUS!  08-14-2014 Married in Ann Arbor, MI

NVC... DONE  in 116 days from NOA2 to final CC

Final Steps... DONE in 350 days from NOA1 to POE
POE 08-11-2015 in Detroit, MI 

 

 

 

 

Removal of Conditions

07-11-2017 NOA1 date (rec'd on 14th)

08-03-2017 Daughter and I completed biometrics; May 2018 - I had to redo my biometrics (reason unknown)

WAC17283xxxxx....and we wait...400 days

07-13-2018 I-551 extension stamp (12 mths) obtained at USCIS office in Detroit

09-20-2018 Transferred to TSC

10-15-2018 Text notification "New Card Being Produced"   YAY!!
