Very interesting. My husband is a NPIW case as well. He got that letter in December and we have not heard anything since. I'd be happy if ANY office wanted to pick up the case. :) But I hope for you that this means you will get an approval soon!

Thank you!

My case was never been in Kendall, Florida. I had my biometric done there because it is the closest USCIS local office from my area. My case ended up in Fairfax after the random cases sent out from NBC to any local offices. Please follow NPIW thread as well. You will have a big picture all the process and ease your mind.

I advised you to start calling them after your husband waiting time out of normal processing times from the date he received NPIW letter. Do all the best you can. Fortunately, when I called Tier-1 and inquiry my case, a few days letter I received RFE whereas some others had done many things such as contact ombudsman or congressman and call USCIS, and they had no luck to get their cases being "touched".

You're right. My husband's case has never been to Fairfax either, although it is our local office. We are planning to call and harass them again tomorrow morning first thing. Do you mind telling me what the RFE was for? Did they want the full medical again from you or was it just for a vaccination missing? I know my husband's original medical lacked a vaccination, so he already went a couple months ago and got this done with the civil surgeon just in case we get an RFE on that.

thanks!

They sent me an RFE for I-693 to redo whole medical because mine was already expired. Yes, it is better to get all the vaccinations done before heading to CS if your husband had ever received RFE because it is a way cheaper with insurance covered. Immigration things are not covered by an insurance company. My husband paid $395 total of the medical exam with all vaccinations up to date.
