How long after getting an RFE can you receive EAD and interview

We filed late April, the package was received on April 27th. Had biometrics on the 21st of may and the same day checked online just out of curiosity and found an RFE. we followed the instructions and sent it back which was received on the 28th of may. My status online is still the same. Do they start counting the 60-90 days the day you initially filed or after they receive the RFE?

It dependes on how fast you respond to the RFE. But usually it delays the process form 4 to 6 weeks.

February 27, 2015 AOS (I-485, I-130) package sent to Chicago Lockbox

March 03, 2015 <<Day 1>> - AOS package accepted and routed to the USCIS NBC
March 14, 2015 <<Day 11>> - Hard copies of NOA1 received for all the forms
March 21, 2015 <<Day 18>> - Biometrics letter received for April 6
March 23, 2015 <<Day 20>> - Hardcopy notification for I-485 RFE received

April 6, 2015 <<Day 34>> - Successful biometrics

April 17, 2015 <<Day 45>> - RFE respond sent

April 21, 2015 <<Day 49>> - RFE response recevied by USCIS

May 12, 2015 << Day 70>> - Waiting ..... Hopefully soon 

June 03, 2015 <<Day 92>> - Still waiting OMG this is so hard!

June 10, 2015 <<Day 100>> - Yeap Day 100 and nothing yet! 

June 22, 2015 <<Day 111>> - Appointment letter received for JULY 27!!!! 

June 27, 2015 <<Day 116>> - Appointment cancel letter received but also 2nd letter with new date now is JULY 28th!

Finally my waiting is over! Journey to Citizenship Completed!!!!!! :D🌎

They said it "takes time" to match the RFE to your case file :blink:

Oct 24: Received NOA1

Still waiting for Biometrics letter :unsure:
