NVC got I129f on May 11 and still nothing.

Hi All,

I called up NVC on May 9th and was told, my case was sent to US embassy in New Delhi on May 8th as per the DHL website it was delivered on May 11th. My fiance has not received a letter in the mail to schedule the appointment. He called up the call center for ustraveldocs on June 10th and was asked to wait till the time the embassy notifies him. My fiance and I have sent an Email to ustraveldocs on June 10 and still waiting for the reply.

Can anyone please help me ? Shall I just contact the embassy right away because the call center guys asked my fiancé to wait till the time he receives a letter in the mail and it has been more than 45 days.

Please advise

The State Dept has acknowledged ongoing technical issues, affecting visa issuance as well as interview postponements\deferrals. The result has been a cascading backlog at numerous embassies.

Suggest waiting another couple of weeks or so for the backlog to ease somewhat.
